How to add vocabulary

To add vocabulary to the site using taxonomy

  1. Go to Structure
  2. Go to Taxonomy
  3. Under the Vocabulary you wish to change (e.g. Countries, Jurisdiction, Species, Tags, Topics), select list tab
  4. Select +Add Term
  5. In the name field, type in the new vocabulary term
  6. Click Save

To alphabetize the newly added vocabulary in taxonomy

  1. After adding a new term, select the list tab again
  2. Click on the vocabulary term and drag it until it is in the correct alphabetical spot.
  3. Click Save

 

To add vocabulary to the site using taxonomy manager

  1. Go to Structure
  2. Go to Taxonomy Manager
  3. Select the Vocabulary you wish to add a term
  4. Select Add in the Toolbar
  5. Enter the term in the Terms box
  6. Select the Add button below the Terms box

To alphabetize the newly added vocabulary in taxonomy manager

  1. Check the box next to the new term you wish to alphabetize
  2. Use the up and down arrows in the Tool bar until the term is in the correct spot
