HISTORICAL AND STATUTORY NOTES

2006 Legislation

Governor Schwarzenegger issued the following signing message regarding Stats.2006, c. 604 (A.B.450):

“To the Members of the California State Assembly:

“I am signing Assembly Bill 450 which would ensure that California is prepared to respond effectively to the myriad of animal-related issues and needs resulting from a disaster. This is an important policy and critical part of emergency planning that should not be overlooked. However, clean-up language is necessary in order to make implementation of this bill easier for state and local agencies. I look forward to working with the Legislature to address these outstanding issues.

“Sincerely,

“Arnold Schwarzenegger”
