To upload articles, follow these simple (hopefully) instructions:
1. Make sure your paper is devoid of too much formatting (especially for headings).
2. In the gray box near the navigation, click Add Content.
3. Click on Article.
4. For the first first field Title, add Detailed Discussion of [Your Topic] (or whatever similar title you like as long as begins with Detailed Discussion).
5. For topics, pick topics that deal with your issue (like CITES, Trade, etc.) To select two or more topics, do a Control+Click.
6. Ignore the Species and Jurisdiction pulldowns.
7. Author name fields and date are pretty self-explanatory!
8. Ignore ISBN
9. Place of publication is Michigan State University College of Law.
10. Tags are search terms associated with your topic. These would be things like ivory, elephants, Africa, CITES, China, import, and anything else you can think of.
11. Ignore Add Table of Contents check box (I will do that).
12. Simply copy and paste your entire paper into the Body Field. I will do the formatting and linking on it. Just do a once over to make sure it looks okay.
13. Above the Body field, please expand the link that says "Edit Summary." Here, please add a 3-5 sentence summary for your paper. Typically, the road map works well!
14. Ignore Documents
15. For Primary Citation use Animal Legal & Historical Center
16. Country of origin is United States
17. Full Title is just Detailed Discussion of Elephants and Ivory (or whatever your title is)
18. Click on Save, then take a look on the view page. If you see anything that you need to fix, click Edit Draft. Otherwise, that's it! Just let me know and I'll do phase two.
You just need to follow this for your shorter papers. The only difference is in the title. The really short paper is Brief Summary of ..... and your longer college level one is Overview of .....
